Healthy Easter Egg Treat

Easter Themed Egg Treat with Fruit

Head to the kitchen this spring for a healthy Easter Egg Treat to make with your child. With just a few fresh items you’ll have a special easter snack to enjoy. Here’s how to make this Easter Snack.

Healthier Easter Egg Treat

We love cooking with kids. It is a great way to make everyday moments, learning opportunities. Life around holidays seem to get busier for my family and I wasn’t going to write about this project, but then the kids had so much fun making it and eating it that I wanted to share it with you.

Hopefully, you will have the ingredients on hand and be able to make your own healthy Easter Egg treat too!

Healthy Easter Egg Treat Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • Crescent roll dough (pre-made or make your own)
  • Cream cheese
  • Sliced fruit

Directions:

1. Have your child gently pat the crescent roll dough into an egg shape.
2. Bake as directed.
3. Once cool, have your child spread cream cheese onto the egg.
4. Top with fruit. Make a pattern if you are adding some math into the activity.
5. Eat!

Great Easter Book Connections:

These are a few picture books that you can snuggle in and read with your child while the crescent roll egg is baking! Literacy + Cooking = Learning Opportunity!
