Being a Mom means making a choice. This choice is to be a part of someone else’s life forever. It’s a choice to want to be there in the middle of the night for feedings or waiting for them to come home safely, to see a first smile, to watch their first step or hear their first word. It’s a choice to cheer at a soccer game, attend a parent teacher conference, to volunteer or sit for many hours at the homework table and read book after book as my child learns to read.
Being a mom means having a great reason to enjoy life in a different way. I am able to chase sea gulls at the beach, do cartwheels in the water, and roll around in the sand until I look like I am a sand princess and it is OK because I am doing these things with my kids! (Well, I do get some funny looks!)
Being a mom also means sharing the AMAZING things about parenting with the people I love and now, since we started blogging here at The Educators’ Spin On It – with YOU! Like this…
Are you as excited as we are??? I feel so blessed to have such an amazing mom of my own and to have been given the gift of motherhood! We look forward to what the future brings to our family and hope to share more with you here at The Educators’ Spin On It. There is much to celebrate this Mothers’ Day!
Wishing you all a delightful, enjoyable, laughter filled day!
