You’ll never be without a book written by Dr. Seuss that your child won’t love.  Her’s a few of my favorite books that have always been a bit hit in my Kindergarten class.  Plus they become great easy readers for your beginning reader.

• Spend a Week with Dr. Seuss

We’d love for you to read as much as you can so we’re sharing a book each day with a craft or two to go along with it.  Here’s our weekly Dr. Seuss Lesson Plan Ideas for you! You could even make Handprint Truffula Trees as you explore The Lorax.

• Cook with Dr. Seuss

We’ve collected and created some adorable Dr. Seuss Inspired recipes for you from Little Hands that Cook with Books!  Including this delicious Cat in the Hat Yogurt berry treat!

• Make a Story Box with Dr. Seuss

Take a few Dr. Seuss inspired items and place them into a container along with the books to inspired a little dramatic play.

We create a Cat in the Hat Sensory box for our hands on fun with the book.  Plus added some printable rhyming hats for your beginning readers.
