Easter Learning Activities for Preschoolers

This week, my 4 year old and I are not just crafting for Easter, we are also learning with a bunny, carrot, and egg theme!  Hey, the kids are excited about the upcoming holiday – I’m using the excitement to teach academics.  Thematic learning makes math, science, and reading even more fun! Here are our favorites from the many that we have been doing!

Music

Rhythm Game for Easter by Let’s Play Music
When in doubt, throw a couple cute books, some stickers, a puppet and a stuffed bunny in a basket. Set the basket on your kitchen table as an invitation to learn. It doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive to make a huge impact!  This basket kept my 4 year old busy for almost an hour.  He decided to use the stickers to count with and made his own craft egg, read the stories to the bunny, then acted out one of them with the puppet (on his own!) I was loving the extra minutes of learning time so that I could get dinner made!
