The beginning of Spring is officially here! How are you sharing the change of seasons with your child? Did you go on a Hunt for Spring yet? Have you spotted Spring in your yard, your neighborhood, or your community? We’d love for you to share your photos with us on our Facebook Page or email us.
Here are some of the pictures we found this past week on our Spring walks that we added to our Spring Journal. Some of the words we used with these pictures are flower, leaves, bud, nest, birds, and even a frog. We could smell the flowers and even touched the frog so slimy was another word we added. How many words can you add to your spring journal?
What was your child’s favorite thing to discover about Spring?
We can’t wait to see what you share about Spring!

Nice pictures in this post. We are in North California, so it's hard to say when spring actually comes. I guess when hummingbirds start coming 🙂

I love reading about J's discovery of frogs this season and your collection of frog books was great! I can't wait to see as he discoveries they lay eggs and make tadpoles. We spent last year in preschool bringing tadpoles for show and tell as they grew and changed. The class loved it!

Thanks Critters and Crayons. Poor little snake. I would love to see some of your spring photos, I think sometimes the weeds can be the prettiest and love that they kids can pick them and not upset anyone.

We've seen the first of our frogs in the garden last week it was was magical for J as they are his favourite animal and this morning whilst having breakfast we watched a bird collecting moss to line a nest.

Those photos are gorgeous! The frog is so bright! We've only come across drab toads! We did happen across a smooshed Rat 7 snake in front of the house- they look like rattlers without the rattles. I have some photos I should post- they are pretty- but the oddest thing is that they are of flowered weeds. They look like pretty poppy flowers, though- Love the montage!
