This week is teacher appreciation week! May 6 is the official teacher appreciation day.
Looking for a gift idea? Have your child create a fun flower arrangement for their teacher for teacher appreciation week. It creates a colorful arrangement to keep on their desk, classroom or even bring home. We gathered a few supplies and my daughter did the rest on her own!
Teacher Appreciation Flower Arrangement with Printable
This is a budget-friendly project that’s easy to do. We picked up our supplies from the local dollar tree.
We purchased a few items…
- Glass vase
- glass beads
- silk flowers
First place the glass beads into the vase. Then it was time to arrange the flowers. Allow your child to do this for their teacher, or even Mother’s day.
As they are making the arrangement it’s a great time to discuss colors, size arrangements, similarities, and differences {TEACHER TIP: Hands-on MATH for spacial sense} You can print out this sign to add to the arrangement with the quote “Thank you Teacher for helping me bloom.”
And there you have it a quick and easy Teacher Flower Arrangement for your child’s teacher that will last for years to come. Especially if you’re like me and don’t have any flowers to pick in the garden as of now.
We’ve gathered some of our favorite gift ideas for teachers to make it easy for you to get ready. I’ve even asked my teaching friends their thoughts. Take a moment to tell a teacher thank you this week, they do so much for our child! Even a simple note of thanks from your child would mean the world.
