The Best Parenting Advice for New Parents

Here at The Educators’ Spin On It, we LOVE babies! Yes, there is something so magical and wonderful about a baby being born.  Maybe it is the new baby smell or the sight of 10 sweet little toes that has me swooning. We have shared pregnancy articles and way to play with your babies when they are here.  This series will focus on the absolute best parenting advice for new parents from our faithful online community of friends, family, and bloggers.

If you are expecting a baby soon – then this new series is for YOU! Have a friend ready to give birth? Please share this article with them!

The BEST Parenting Advice for New Parents.

Congratulations on your upcoming arrival!  Having a baby can be EXCITING and NERVE WRACKING at the same time.

You may have announced to family and friends the news of your upcoming arrival, bonded with your bump, and maybe even made something special for baby-to-be.

At our house, we celebrated baby #3 with a special What Will Baby BEE gender reveal party.  The children also helped BELLY PAINT my ginormous belly! Your family and friends may be throwing you baby showers with cute little socks and silly games. I bet your nursery has been decorated too!  My boys shared a room, so we painted these trucks to decorate the “nursery” on a budget.

Before you know it, the time will come to pack your bags for labor and delivery and to wait for your new bundle of joy to arrive.  Soon – your baby will be swaddled and snuggled into your arms.

I’ve now been a mom to a new baby THREE times!  Each has been an exciting and nerve wracking. Pregnancy and birth is different with each child.  There really is no one size fits all approach to having a baby.

I do feel like I’m armed with more knowledge and experience than pre-kids and want to share with you.  Admittedly, I am NOT an expert, nor do I have ALL the answers. In fact, I am continuously reading parenting books, asking my mom friends, and researching best parenting practices myself. Which is why this series includes parenting advice, parenting tips, and parenting tricks from other moms – like YOU!
