Looking for ways to incorporate Non Fiction books at home?
Want more science based learning to happen at home this summer?
When teaching my children and my students in my class about Science, Gail Gibbons is the first author I turn to to see if she has written about the subject. She both an author and illustrator of children’s books. With over 120 titles, Gibbons is one of today’s leading writers and illustrators of nonfiction books for children.
She has such a gift to be able to bring complicated topics into a clear message to children as they discover her books and then science within. When I visited her author site I discovered Explore the World of Gail Gibbons in a Year (printable) . I do believe that if I was searching for ways to bring Science into my home with kids she would be my number 1 go to source.
Here’s a quick video about Gail Gibbons. I love having my children see the person behind the book, it really inspired them to be their own author and appreciate books that much more!

We LOVE Gail Gibbons' books. Every time I research books and see that she's written one on the topic we're learning about, I know it'll be good. Thanks for sharing the video! I've never seen it!!
