Back to School can be one of the most exciting times for families in the year. There are so many new adventures from schools, classrooms and to new teachers and friends! You even get back to school clothes and school supplies to prepare you for a successful year.
One special way to set your child up for success is talking with them about your expectations and their expectations. Throughout your child’s first week of school their classroom teacher will focus a great deal of their classroom time on this topic to build a successful community of students.
Here’s a fun way to see what your child’s thoughts are about the upcoming school year and to capture them just they way they are at their age. If you’re like I’m still shocked that summer is almost over and we’re moving to a new grade. I can’t believe I have a 2nd grader now in my house!
