Kids in the Garden; Learning and Growing

Gardening with kids is a great learning opportunity to teach math, science, social studies, reading, writing and social skills.  We often underestimate the power of a garden as an educational tool.  Here at The Educators’ Spin On It, we strongly urge parents and teachers to PLANT A SEED with your child and watch them grow.

Resources for Planting a Garden with Kids from The Educators' Spin On It

Kids in the Garden; Learning and Growing

Kids in the Garden; Learning and Growing, a collection of articles all geared to help parents and teachers interact with their children in the garden.  We hope to provide you with tips on which plants to chose, how to incorporate academics into your gardening and give you some ideas on how to make your garden more “global.”

I am so ready for the spring temperatures to get warm enough to start planting in our yard. What a great resource this is.

The best practice is to grow your own fruits and vegetables for your family so they can have a clean and fresh taste with its benefit. It is also a fun to do your own planting and it is a good exercise to educate your kids how to plant a vegetable and fruits.
